Idaho Governor Brad Little and Secretary of State Phil McGrane took executive action Tuesday to prevent non-U.S. citizens from voting in elections.Â
The ONLY CITIZENS WILL VOTE Act was signed by the governor and will have the Secretary of State monitor and review voter registration and voter rolls to ensure non-citizens are not voting.Â
Important to note the United States Constitution ratified in 1788 already ensures only U.S. citizens can vote.Â
